 Basic, Sturdy... Pretty Darn Good! Aug 01, 2010
These bar stools arrived needing almost complete assembly, but the entire process took me less than twenty minutes. If you're of the weaker variety, I suggest asking a friend for help attaching the cushion; punching through the upholstery with the teeny screws is the toughest part.
Once assembled, they made a great addition to my kitchen bar. They're the perfect height, they swivel with ease, and the cushions are a spill-proof material (although I'm not a parent, so I haven't experienced any of the truly creative spills that kids can come up with).
I recommend these to anyone on a budget who has a penchant for the basics, and to people who like to spin around in their seats. I will NEVER get tired of that.

These stools look great in my kitchen! I've been wanting to purchase stools for the island in my kitchen but, I never found the right ones. Either they were too expensive or they looked very cheap, and I wasn't sure if they would last. As I was look thru Amazon.com I found these swivel stools. They were perfect my husband agreed and I ordered the stools. They arrived very quickly. Alot faster then we expected. My husband put them together easily, He said the assembly was very easy to do my himself.
Not only was the price right but the look was perfect. I was very satisfyed with the look of the stools, my only complaint was that my husband did NOT measure for the heigth. I had to reorder my stools at a short height.
I love them just the same. So,do my grandsons, they love sitting in them and swiveling around.

The stools hold up well and seem supportive for the average weight. I had a hard time with attaching the cushion using a screwdriver. It might be best to use a drill to get the screws to go directly into the wood underneath. The directions are not the best because they are all images and no text. I like the back rest though and they swivel very nicely. It's great being able to buy two at once.

Love the barstools.Very comfortable.We bought a new trailer and it had a bar so we decided to go with these barstools for our home.Great for if you want the swival also. We really enjoy drinking our coffee at our bar with these very comfortable bar stools we bought here for very good price than most places we searched..They are Black metal and have the soft cushiony seats and very easy to put together took about thirty minutes to get them put together and we were sitting at the bar in them.They took about a week to ship.

Pros:
Inexpensive (less than $50 shipped for 2 stools)
look nice and are tall enough for my bar counters
Cons:
Backrest is uncomfortable and hard - needs pillow
Getting the huge oddly sized merchandise out of box filled with shipping popcorn
Need to assemble both, slightly difficult - takes about half an hour
